We thought it might be useful to document the process of starting an online business from scratch.
Jim Coudal and Steve Delahoyde will periodically post here about issues involving our
product and business plan. Hopefully things will go well but even if the whole thing goes down in flames,
it’ll probably be interesting to watch.

Our partner Andrew called last night to say, "I looked into Katie's office and couldn't see her behind the neat stacks of Jewelboxing 20packs all boxed up and ready to go." Sweet. Tomorrow we'll be a week old and we couldn't be having more fun. Thanks for all the words of encouragement and suggestions, they're deeply appreciated. Today's list o' cool cities includes Littleton, Vancouver, Cumming, Marietta, Windsor, Seattle and Pittsburgh.
We made a few small changes to the site last night and one big one. Susan did some excellent photography for the Components Page to help illustrate what customers get when they order. We're also putting the finishing touches on our owners' manual PDF, "Presentation is Everything" and should have that ready for download in the next day or two. To accommodate several requests, we're making it easy to order larger quantities of the Super Jewel Box Kings with the software-specific templates but without the paper and labels. If you're going to produce 1,500 DVDs, you're probably not going to print out the inserted materials on a little Epsom Printer.
Thanks to James Hutchinson for sending us the files to show how he used the system to produce a case mock-up for his brilliant animated series, Preschool Protocops.
